The basketball medal was presented at the sports ceremony for basketball participation. The medal is a round bronze medal attached to a burgundy ribbon. The perimeter of the medal is surrounded with a bubble boarder. Inside of the boarder displays two female basketball players. One of the female basketball players is dribbling a basketball, while the second basketball player appears to be defending the player. The medal is attached to a ribbon with a small circle loop.
