Edgar Arnold sits with his engineering crew (unidentified) in the engine room of the William B. Davock. Above them are engine gauges, to the right is the engine order telegraph and to the left is the propeller shaft. Above the latter is a sign for Great Lakes Engineering Works, who designed and built the ship in 1906.
