Description
The William B. Davock, a ship built in 1907 by the Vulcan Steamship Company in St. Clair, MI. In 1915, it was purchased by Picklands Mather, which later belonged to the Interlake Steamship Company and had the second largest shipping fleet in the Great Lakes during the early 20th century. Edgar Arnold served as chief engineer on the ship from 1917-1920. In 1940, it sunk in storm off Pentwater, MI. All hands and cargo were lost.
