Description
A signed receipt for Edgar Arnold for a one dollar payment of yearly union dues in the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association that represented engineers on maritime ships across America. It is signed by the then Financial Secretary of the organization, John Leitch. The receipt number (44) is noted along with the local union hall number (53) in Marine City, the seal of which is also stamped into the paper.
