Janet Sheehan, sitting in a yellow stripped foldable chair at a slight angle on a sunny day on the beach. She is facing the away from the ocean behind her in a strapless one-piece black bathing suit while looking down and to her left. She has short brown hair and a glow from the sun. Her right arm is leaning on the armrest of the chair while her left arm is extended out to her side holding her hand with her pinter finger and thumb pressed together as if she is holding something. Her left leg is slightly lifted so that her foot is just above the sand and her right foot in slightly buried in the sand. The sand below her in the captured image is over-exposed from the brightness of the sun. The water in the background is a light sea green slowly deepening to a blue as it hits the horizon. The sky meets the ocean a third way from the bottom of the vertical image at nearly the same blue as the ocean making the horizon nearly invisible. The sky is blue and has many whispy clouds.

Image was taken on Jan and Tim Sheehan's honeymoon in Clearwater Beach, FL in July of 1981.
