Description
This plant has a woody stem with darker green diamond or tapered silver dollar-like leaves. The leaves, if properly taken care of are pubescent meaning they have a fuzzy coating on the tops of the leaves. These plants like to climb which is why it is supported by 3 chopsticks. This plant is potted in a 3-inch pot because it is an epiphyte which means it likes to live on trees and does not want a lot of soil surrounding the roots. Therefore, it is in very well-draining soil and does not get watered that often. It looks almost exactly the same as it did months ago because if the perfect conditions are not met they can easily go dormant. This species of hoya enjoy more humidity which is probably why it lost two of its lower leaves a couple of months ago. These rarely bloom but if they ever do, they will be white blooms with a pink center. The first two images with the white background were taken on March 13, 2023, and the third image was taken on September 16, 2022, where it is typically kept on a dresser in front of a south window.
