Description

A purple definitive stamp from Bohemia and Moravia during the Second World War. The postage value listed in the bottom left corner is 4 K (Bohemian and Moravian koruna). Printed with steel engraving. In 1939, Germany annexed Czechoslovakia. They formed the Protecoriate Böhmen and Mähren which then issued its own stamps, including some of Hitler such as this example. This is one of many stamps which depict the H. Hoffman portrait of Adolph Hitler.
