<dcterms:description><![CDATA[Acrylic paint on canvas board. The subject of the painting is the black silhouette of a tree with bare branches and visible roots. The tree is situated to the left of center. Its roots touch the bottom of the canvas and some of the branches are cut off on the left and top of the canvas. The bottom of the painting features a white snowy texture, with some blue shadow showing though. The background features a white sun, just right of center. A gradient that goes from orange to yellow, green, light blue, to dark blue radiates from the sun outwards to the edge of the canvas. White highlights scatter around the sun randomly. The surface of the painting is matte and rough. Damage such as scrapes, stains, and spots, are scattered around the whole of the painting.]]></dcterms:description>
