Raised crescent on left edge of coin. Previously struck penny's text partially visible around embossed image. Inverted text Liberty partially visible below and to the right of the buffalo image. Inverted year 197? partially visible above and to the left of the buffalo image. Reverse: Previously struck penny's words and image still appear on coin but are elongated from the pressing process. Image Lincoln Memorial in center. Partially readable text United States of America encircling above the Memorial icon. Text E Pluribus Unum above Memorial icon. Text One Cent encircled below Memorial icon. Condition: both sides of coin have uneven patination.
