Inverted year 197? partially visible above and to the left of the buffalo image. Reverse: Previously struck penny's words and image still appear on coin but are elongated from the pressing process. Image Lincoln Memorial in center. Partially readable text United States of America encircling above the Memorial icon. Text E Pluribus Unum above Memorial icon. Text One Cent encircled below Memorial icon. Condition: both sides of coin have uneven patination.
