Description
This tribute to Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, who famously holds the record for the longest uninterrupted spaceflight by a European astronaut, depicts Samantha smiling in front of a rocket taking off in flight. It is painted in shades of blue to match the color of the underlying wall's paint using the traditional "Spolvero" technique invented by Michalengelo, which is a process similar to stenciling that transfers a sketch to another surface.
