In this black and white photograph there is the intersection of Beacon Boulevard and Washington Street in Grand Haven, Michigan under construction. In the foreground there is a paved road which is Beacon Boulevard running slightly diagonal to the right and disappears from view just to the right of the middle of this photograph. In the background on the left there are piles of dirt, and houses and trees and utility poles lining Beacon Boulevard. On the right you can see the intersection with Washington Avenue which runs off the photograph. On the far side of Washington there is a brick building with a staircase on the side of it. There are a couple houses and utility poles in the background along Beacon Boulevard.
