This black and white photograph shows the intersection of Beacon Boulevard and Washington Street in Grand Haven, Michigan. The foreground focuses on Beacon Boulevard. Washington Street comes in from the right. In the background on the left there are houses, trees, and utility poles lining the highway. In the middle both sides of the highway can be seen separated by the median which has utility poles on both sides. On the right there is a car on the highway. All the way to the right in the background there are cars parked just beyond the staircase of a brick building which is on the far side of Washington Street.
