"Diamond Life" is the debut studio album by the English band Sade (1981 -) released on February 25, 1985 by CBS Inc. The album features singles: "Your Love Is King"; "When Am I Going to Make a Living"; "Smooth Operator"; and "Hang On to Your Love". "Diamond Life" peaked at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, number five on the U.S. Billboard Top Jazz Albums and number three on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
The 14"x14" vinyl cover is features an image of vocalist Sade Adu, photographed by Chris Roberts, featured in the lower half in black and grey; below the image of Adu is the title of the album: "Diamond Life" and above the photograph is the name of the group: "Sade" in a pale blue.
