Hand-painted wooden peg doll ornament designed to resemble educator Maria Montessori. Top of peg is painted with a smiling white woman's face and white hair. Bottom part of peg is painted to look like a black, v-neck dress with a gray horizontal line across it. On the front of the peg is a representation of a classic pink Stacking Tower Montessori manipulative toy. A silver metal hook is screwed into the top of the peg and a red satin ribbon runs through it, creating a loop for hanging.
