"Perfect Angel" is the second studio album by American recording artist Minnie Riperton (b. 1947 - 1979) released on August 9, 1974 by EPIC Records. The album features Riperton's biggest single "Lovin' You" written by Riperton and husband Rudolph Riperton and produced by Stevie Wonder. "Perfect Angel" reached number one on the U.S. Billboard R&B Albums chart as well as number four on the U.S. Billboard Pop Albums.
The 14"x14" vinyl cover depicts a shirtless Riperton, photographed by American photographer Barry Feinstein (b. 1931 - 2011), wearing denim overalls holding a melted ice cream cone with the title of the album, "Perfect Angel", in the upper right hand corner and the artist's name: "Minnie Riperton" in the upper left hand corner. The back cover includes the track listing for the album and well as an acknowledgment to fans and production information.
