Description

This mural on the side of a building in Detroit depicts strange monsters and creatures similar to Monster Steve's other murals, combined with bright colors in abstact patterns typical of both Tead's and Malt's work. A humanoid figure on the left with green eyes, purple skin, and a gaping mouth full of little, yellow teeth, claws his way toward the other side of the mural. There on the far right, another humanoid creature with yellow skin, red eyes, a long, pointy nose, and long, skinny limbs, sits and reclines; it wears a hood over its head and a backpack; it's holding a smaller creature in its hands and jeering at it with a broad smile on its face. He appears to be holding it hostage while across from it, another creature resembling a crab with many eyes threatens the smaller creature with its claw, which it holds close to the smaller creature's face. The smaller creature looks very distressed; perhaps the humanoid figure on the left is coming to rescue it. A dark blue background with white clouds, a bright yellow moon, and the silhouettes of trees provides the context of a night sky for this rendezvous of creatures. All 3 artist names are inscribed in the bottom-left corner of the mural in white lettering.

NOTE: The mural's original state has been defaced by the reconstruction of the building's facade.
