Description

The scene of this mural crosses two corrugated metal panels. The mural shows two crouching young women against a pinkish-beige background, each figure holding bouquets of balding dandelions. The figure on the left looks out at the viewer while kneeling on her right knee. She is painted with olive green skin, and sports deep purple-red colored hair cut into a short banged pageboy. She wears a deep green long sleeved T-shirt, and pink shorts. A discontinuous, undulating yellow-green smoke-like line emerges from her eyes and crosses the mural toward the right in the direction of the other figure, which is depicted in its own panel. The figure in the panel to the right has peach-colored skin, and crouches with her weight borne on the balls of her two feet. With her large dark eyes she looks toward the figure in the left panel, their eyes connected through the smokey line. She has very long dark green-black hair with a side part that falls over her shoulders and down beside her. She wears an olive-green short sleeved T-shirt, and long dark pants. A hint of the ground the figures crouch upon is seen at the bottom of both panels painted in a deep brown. In the lower right corner of the left panel is the date "2016" painted in the same yellow-green color used to paint the line between the women. In the lower left corner of the right panel the work is signed "AMSCOUt" in the same hue as the date.
