Description
This is a tile that is made from Michigan clay after being packed into custom molds, air dried, fired, and glazed.
This tile is a mold of the City of Detroit's flag, which is the city seal on a quartered background. The city seal features two female figures, one looking back to a ruined city while the other gestures forward to a new one. The motto: Speramus Meliora, Resurget Cineribus is listed.
The tile is uniformly painted red, with design and detail raised in the natural brown color of the clay.
