Description

Acrylic paint on wood panel canvas. The background is a blend of dusty blue, grey, and white. A variety of white snowflakes are scattered throughout the background at random. In the center of the canvas, two cardinals sit on a tree branch. The branch is dark brown, nearly black, with dark green pine needles accented with white. On the left is a yellow cardinal; on the right is a red cardinal. The yellow cardinal has a mix of orange and brown blended into its feathers. Its beak is red-orange surrounded by a brown patch. One eye is visible as its head tilts slightly right toward the red cardinal. The red cardinal has a mix of dark and light reds for its feathers. It has a light red beak surrounded by a patch of black. One eye is also visible as it leans to the left toward the yellow cardinal. Near the bottom left corner of the canvas, the words "Let it snow" have been stenciled on with white paint. In the bottom right corner, the signature "Joyce" is signed in white paint. The paint lies flat on the wood canvas.
