On the left is a yellow cardinal; on the right is a red cardinal. The yellow cardinal has a mix of orange and brown blended into its feathers. Its beak is red-orange surrounded by a brown patch. One eye is visible as its head tilts slightly right toward the red cardinal. The red cardinal has a mix of dark and light reds for its feathers. It has a light red beak surrounded by a patch of black. One eye is also visible as it leans to the left toward the yellow cardinal. Near the bottom left corner of the canvas, the words "Let it snow" have been stenciled on with white paint. In the bottom right corner, the signature "Joyce" is signed in white paint.
