A sunflower painted on wood with a mix of acrylic and watercolor paint and outlined in ink. The background is marbled with various light and olive greens in watercolor paint. The sunflower is centered and angled slightly toward the right. Its petals are loosely drawn and dark yellow, surrounding a brown center. The sunflower has a brown stem curving to the left from the bottom. Three green leaves angle toward the left at the bottom of the stem. The entire flower is outlined in black. The name "Joyce" is seen near the bottom right corner of the canvas, signed in black ink.
