'Jade' - Crassula Ovata

Dublin Core

Title

'Jade' - Crassula Ovata

Subject

House plants.
Plants, Potted.
Succulent Plants.

Description

The jade plant has thick oval-shaped dark green leaves that store a lot of water, making them a succulent plant. As the plant grows the stalks will eventually get woody to support more growth. This pot has 9 stalks to keep the plant looking full. Some of the leaves have white dots on the leaves which is due to the high salt content in the fertilizer that I used to give it. It now only gets distilled water. A good indicator to tell if the jade plant needs water is to take a leaf and see if it bends easily or is wrinkly then it is time to water.
